yeah it would. i think that ford should never have let the t-bird be powered by anything other than a v-8 though. it's not low sales, it's the fact that sales are usually higher for a different income bracket of people and location. in texas it's all about trucks and stuff. see what i mean...

you have to get parts for a 4.6L. it's expensive and a little bit of a pain, but it's worth it. when u get plug wires, get nperformance. not only will u get better spark but it's only $10 or$15 more expensive than stock. or at least where i live it's like that.

i have good news. #3 on your list of tranny problems is normal. mine does that too and my tranny before did it. that is just how the AODE tranny shifts. weird isn't it? :) however don't floor it there's a sweet spot with AODE's. between 2/3 and 3/4 throttle is the spot. at least it works that...

you could always go to a junkyard and rob the kit off a super coupe. it is small, but most likely cheaper than $600. then again it depends on the style. there is a supposed ferrari kit for t-birds that's over 2 grand. from what i heard, it sounds wicked. unfortunatley i don't know if this kit...

i'm probably annoying you. go to the ford dealership and ask for a ford racing parts catalouge. be sure to go to the parts department and ask for this or try jegg's or summit racing catalouge

from how your description, it sounds like your tranny is delaying in shifts. mine used to do that in second. it would take forever to get to third. it sux. your v8 can support your a/c, so it seems doubtful to me that the a/c being on is your problem. i'm no mechanic, so i'd get a few opinions...

i would take out any restrictions in the airflow to your motor. i may be wrong, i'm not too familiar with the new `birds. however i did hear that the '04s will be supercharged from the factory. if that's true i'm excited that ford decided to pay a little more attention to their best creation...
