    4. you could fly/drive/rail/bus out, and tow it yourself. You need like an F350 and HD car hauler. '61 weighs about 4K Lbs. (Ford Explorer weight range). Allsaidanddone, probably be about the same price as having it shipped out professionally, but more scenic for you.

    Not yet. From website pix of enginebays, the tightness at the shocktower looks very similar. Not sure how powersteering is arranged. Guess one of us should shoot fordpowertrain an email. How much persuasion do they need to tool up for a 61-63 set? ...or can our birds be persuaded to accept...

    Yup, Fuse is blown. When you short the wires to the switch, the fuse blows; dome lights and tail lights gone. I had the same delema recently, after replacing the $10 switch (available from several places). The switch must provide some resistance, otherwise the fuse wouldn't blow. I think its...

    Check your fuse ... of course. Good indicator is rear interior dome light on same circuit.
