I like to do things that are subtle and still keep the mostly stock look. as far as the amazon radio that would work but I am needing the factory knobs I have none. thanks for the info I will be looking into that for a possibility :)
lets keep this thread alive and keep digging for the t-roof production info. I bought a 79 T-roof in February with 50,000 documented original miles and have been loving it ever since!!
start with you ignition switch, not the part you put your key in... most likely located behind the gauges on top of the column. this is probably your issue
One thing you could do is change the gear ratio in the rear end, that would make it feel alittle faster. You can add a cold air intake and some 3.8 mustang headers as well
I would go ahead and change it. since its already leaking its most likely rusted from the inside making it thin and brittle if you took a pick to it you would probably poke right through. try the expandable freeze plugs just make sure you know what size you need.
when I have had to replace them I always use the expandable type due to ease of use. if you can get in there usually you can use a punch or a small chisel and knock them in then pull them out. easy stuff
Thanks :D I have changed the hood ornament back to the original. car is in very good shape except for the dents in the drivers side but they will get some attention soon :)
