teapot pony carbs advertises quality builds of teapots ,as do some local places in dallas,,any advice on keeping mine or a possible upgrade which probably involves a dist change

What are the dist. issues with using a 57 holly,,vac advance ,timing?any bolt on alternative upgrades without a dist swap. Or would a quality rebuild of a stock tea pot be the best way. thanks

problems I did a pertronix on mine,made for a 55 12volt,,the car ran terrible,,queations and answers were all over the place from every tech source,,recommended not recommended,,the only real solution was to return the item as defective,I didnt just for credit,points are easier
