Brake Booster / Master Cylinder Replacement Question

Hows the master? If the rear seal goes it will leak but you wont see it. It will go into the booster. Have someone apply the brakes and you listen under the hood. If you hear a gurgling noise its the master.

    Mystery electrical stuff

Two guesses, without pictures. Does your car have transisterized ignition ? And the second guess would be since you have a CA car could it be part of the Thermactor Emission system? I think 66 was the first year with that and I would imagine early printing 66 manuals might have skipped it. Post...

    Power Window Install

I usually have the window held up to a closed position, then run the regulator and motor unattached to the window to the top position, attatch the regulator arms and away I go.

    Power Window Install

Remove the clips holding the rollers, put the rollers in the tracks free, that way you can move them where you need to. Attach the 4 bolts and then press the regulator arm studs back into the rollers. When you had the motor off did you get the spring back on correctly?

    Rear arm-rest removal

You are correct, there are attatching screws behind those plugs. There are also about 3 or 4 more screws that hold the panel on. Once the seat is out you will see those clearly.

    Steering column repair kit

I also had a steering column issue, I bought the kit from Macs and i would guess they both came from the same supplier. I was lucky in that all that was bad on mine was the retainer around the upper bearing. I would be interested as well on the easiest way to change the lower one. We have...
