i have a bunch of bird friends that have installed the wiper conversions and they seem to work flawlessly. Some of the older vacum systems just get to difficult to find parts for and or repair. Good luck to your conversion - you gotta have wipers...

try john draxler at tbirdranch.com - he carrys some modern replacements for thes units - and may have some nos pieces as well. I bought and installed a convertible relay replacement kit from him and it took all the kinks out the operation. good luck :D

just to add to this - I don't think an occaisional can of lead additive should be a problem - the lead is a good engine lubricant - to be on the safe side. pj

Just to let you know that only the 1960 tbird had the 6 rear lights - no others - not even a crossover year. I hope that helps. Good Luck :rolleyes:

:) I am only going to offer my opinion here and that is all - I think your 'find' would be a better find for you of the price was about $4500 - but if this is the car you hav eot have then you will pay what it takes for you to get it. Shipping a car from / to will cost you about $1200 - figure...

I'll second that - the 88 tc wheels are the coolest - when they are chromed - they are the best...

I've got to be honet with you - I just bought an 88 turbo coupe in really nice condition - that car rocks - I am sure your 5.0 is nice but unless you have driven a tc - you don't know what you are missing - they are so damn fast - you should drive one and see for yourself - it's a cult like...

there isn't a relay per say but rather a large package which controls the sequential rear lights and brakes, etc. This will be in the trunk mounted behind the rear seats. It is a funny looking device with wires and 'stuff' connected to it. I have some spare kits if you need to buy one ;)
