  • Hi Tim,

If your offer still stands on the fresh air flex hose, I'd like to get a good replacement from you. Mine is beyond repair, very brittle and too many cracks to fix properly. This may be a long shot, but I also need a seat belt timer switch. Looks like a 2 inch round cylinder with three prongs, connects to the seat belt warning chime. I have a picture of the assembly, but I can't upload pics to this website. If you like, you can shoot me a quick email with a price for the flex hose at [email protected] and I'll forward a picture of what I'm looking for. Thanks!
Hi Tim, I never received your message about the courtesy lights...It's strange, but I never received the message below either. I'm only reading this because I went to your profile to the "visitor messages"...I was never notified...if you could resend your response for the lights, I would appreciate it! Yes, it's the flex hose. It's really brittle in some places, I may be able to save with a little TLC. But if not I'll let you know, I think I bought a pw seat switch from you many years ago...Have a good day!
Sorry for the delay; I failed to see your pm to me. I think I've answered your initial question about wiring for courtesy lights. As to the fresh air intake, I take it you mean the flex hose running from the air cleaner down to the plastic intake channel: yes, they are hard to find--don't know why though. If you repair the one you have, make sure it is done right; you need all the air you can get--no leaks--into your carb. Fuel plus air is what your carb needs for power. More air, more power and economy on fuel. If you want a good one and also need other parts, I have some I can let go of. thanks, tim
    Hi Tim,

I sent you a private message the other day, but I may have screwed it up. So I'm sending again, hopefully you'll receive. You seem to know a lot about these cars, so I want to ask you what you think about adding rear courtesy lights? I found a set of NOS lights and the wire harness that connects both lights to the main harness running along the floor. Problem is, because my car is not equipped, there is nothing to connect to. I lifted the rear seat out yesterday to ckeck..no connection and no data sheet. I was hopping to find both. How can I rectify, if possible? Connect to dome light maybe? I've got a wiring diagram that shows me where the ground should be located, but this is not something I would be doing myself, professional only. Just want to know if there's a way...Thanks!
    Leslie
Also, I wanted to ask if you think I need to replace the fresh air intake hose on my car? Mine is brittle and starting to crack. I might be able to save it with a little hockey tape and black spray paint. Are they hard to find...?
    Thanks again..
