Chrome rims that fit 64 tbird

Does anyone have real life experience in finding chrome rims that will fit a stock 64 tbird? Does anyone have real life experience running 7" wide tires vs the stock 6" wide tires?
I have a stock 64 convertible with a front disc brake conversion. I am riding on old 15" wire wheels that are heavily rusted and have numerous broken spokes. New wire wheels are very expensive with long lead times (12-19 months at coker). I installed a 1/2" spacer on the front wheels to get the rims to clear the calipers.
I am leaning towards going with cragars, a look I fell in love with many many years ago when I put them on my first car. American Racing also makes a similar style wheel.
I would like to find a rim that will clear the front calipers without using a spacer. Front disc brakes were introduced in 65 so a front rim that fits a 65 tbird should work.
I have been talking with my local tire and wheel dealers and everyone tells me they have nothing that will fit.
If anyone out there has found aftermarket chrome rims that fit their early 60s tbird please respond with details. Thanks
