TEMP GAUGE

HEY GANG!
I HAVE TWO RELATED QUESTIONS.
1)ALL MY GAUGES WORK EXCEPT TEMP GUAGE. ANY EASY WAY TO CHECK IF ITS THE GAUGE OR SENDING UNIT?
2)MANUAL SAYS TO SEAL SENDING UNIT WITH ELECTICAL CONDUCTING SEALANT. ANY IDEAS ON WHERE I CAN GET THIS OR WHAT IT IS?

Have someone watch the gauge and take the lead wire and ground it momemtarily. If the gauge goes over to hot your sender unit is bad. The conductive sealer is to make sure the unit grounds properly--most part houses have it.
