I know all of you are going to hate me for asking. Has anyone every made a hardtop into a convertible? (1965)I'm not really concerned about the top folding into the trunk. I use mine for fun. Is it possible?

I though of doing this. Jusut cutting it (making it look right also) and having a tunnel (spelling?) cover custom made for it. I think this can be done if you spend the money to have the cut off part look right.

Hardtop to convertible? Yes it can be and has been done. There was one in Houston owned by a VTCI officer - a white 1964. It had a folding, removable canvas top. I have also seen a hardtop made into a "parade car" - as in NO TOP.
