ok, its vin says 62. mine was not very early off the line, somewhere around 20,000th and they made around 68,000 hardtops that year. the intake plate has a stud on the back that is not drilled out so that tells me 61. at this point i plan on going with the 61 style "puke tube". if anyone can take a pic or 2 of theirs and post them or email them to me i would be very grateful. thanks for your help. i didnt think this car would be a mystery like this, but its still fun.
