Have a 64 hardtop.

I have a neautral switch that goes on the column and I believe it may be from a 66. it has the vacuum access for the emergency brake also. question is:

where exactly would it go on the column? don't see mounting holes for it. is there a different "sensor" to use for the switch. right now I temporary have the ignition wired without the switch...SO I have no reverse lights and I can turn on the car in any gear.
