As Phil said it could be many things. Are you hearing a click coming from the back when you press the switch? If so you know your getting juice cto the relay. Could be the flip panel in the trunck has to much play and now the upper back panel limit switch is out of adjustment. You can take out the back seat and have someone hold up the panel to see what happens. You can jump the relay if it's bad. Your new book will show you how to do that.
