brake light relay
Looking at the posted pictures, it looks like a fuel filter at the carburetor. Does your car have the filter on the bottom of the fuel pump per original Ford?
On another note: 1966 Thunderbirds equipped with Hiway Piolot (cruise control) has a brake light relay under the dash - left side.
