In regards to the seat belt warning light it comes on as soon as you turn on the ignition and has a switch under the dash (drivers side) that breaks the circuit after a few seconds.
You won't find anything on this in the 66 shop manual. If that switch quits working you will have a hard time finding a replacement.
Thanks again Joe, I am mystified as to why the colours don't match up on my car - maybe the metal light fitting on the front of the Safety Control Panel is from another car and had the paint dabs in different locations?? (personally doubt it but who knows?)

As far as the seat-belt switch thing, I need to know the color-code for the seat-belt light wiring in the Control Panel as I have a light there that stays on all the time and others that don't seem to work at all!!
