Oh-Kay!
Now struggling with the above item.

Can anybody tell me the colour code for the wiring in the panel?? i.e. which bulb has what colored wires?

All the bulb-holders were already pulled out of the Control Panel when I bought the car (unknown to me at the time) so apart from the Door Ajar light which is working I have no idea where they go.

I have the shop manual and some of the wires do have numbers allocated to them - but I can't find out where to decypher said numbers, the book is not much help.

Also, how exactly does the Seatbelt warning light system work?

Keeping my fingers crossed that one of you out there knows about this stuff!!
