I don't know about the center lighting, but...
As for the back-up lights, did you check the fuse? If the fuse is good, check other circuits on the same fuse to trace power...power and ground at the socket? At the disconnect?
I check fuses out of the panel, and check power flows through them while they are in the panel (voltmeter on output side to ground). I have had fuses check good (continuity) in hand, but don't carry current.
Back up lights are controlled by the neutral safety switch on the column under the dash.
