I know very little about T-birds so I found this forum to try to get some information. I found a 1965 T-bird and am interested in buying it but I don't know what it is worth or what to offer the owner. The odd thing about the car is that it has a continental kit that I cannot find anywhere on the web. The owner says that the kit is rare and factory made. The rear of the car is extended approximately 1 1/2 ft. and the spare stands up inside the trunk. The spare is accessed through a rounded lockable lid on top of the rear of the car. It is hard to explain but it is not the kit that mounts to the rear bumper. Also the car has no rust holes and 28,000 miles. It needs a paint job badly and a good cleaning. The 390 runs and the car drives. As I said I don't know much of anything about t-birds or fords for that matter but I liked the car and want it in my garage.
