I thought while driving on the highway the air was naturaly comeing thru the radiator and that helps cool the engine so the fan with the clutch doesn't turn as much when you don't need it. ( should help a little with gas milage) While sitting in traffic it gets hotter and and the fan engages completly when you need it, So with the extra blade it should pull more air while sitting still. What is the life of the clutching fan? I thought thats why ford added them to the a/c cars to pull more air at idle because of the condenser in the front of the core. I'm assuming all this am i wrong somewhere
