1965 & 1966 T-Bird wheels

I am still encountering people who insist that 1965 and 1966 (maybe even 1967) Thunderbirds came from the Ford factory with different wheels on the front and rear. Does anyone think that Ford would do that? These cars came from Ford with five wheels all the same. If you encounter a car with rear wheels that will not work on the front of the car, some one has changed some wheels. The Thunderbird wheels are unique due to the disc brakes. 1965, 1966 and 1967 T-Birds wheels are the same. 1964 had different wheels which would rub on the front brake caliphers.
