Question '65 390ci

I am restoring a '65 convertible. When I had the engine rebuilt, the mechanic recommended a modification to the block. He ran more plumbing for oil flow, and fit the block with an adapter for a 427ci oil filter. When my partner went to put in the oil dipstick tube, he couldn't find where to bolt the tab to. I looked myself with no luck. That should be a simple thing to find. Am I missing a bracket, or does the engine modification change this?
