Relative simple.. Remove the oil pan.. Remove the rear main bearing cap.. Push old seal out of block.. Lift old seal out of cap.. Push new seal in block.. Place new seal in bearing cap.. Precaution, if it isn't stated with seal instructions, do not place seal ends at the block/cap juncture.. Place seal ends about one-half inch from cap end surface.. If you find the rope seal in the engine, remove both pieces and put in new neoprene seal.
