First let me say Hi, I am new to the group and new to Thunderbirds. I just purchased a 65 a couple of months ago, the previous owner installed a Edelbrock 1406 electronic chock carb while the original was being rebuilt, when I bought the car he was going to install the original back and keep the edelbrock but offered to leave it on for an extra $100.00 (way too cold in northern Virginia at the time to work on a carb in an unheated garage LOL), I have not changed back yet but by looking at the hookup it looks real easy to do it yourself, if needed I can snap some pictures of how the electronic choke is hooked up so you can have a visual reference - should not be that different from a holly.
