I read in the manual that to replace the pads you just have to remove the wheel , caliper splash shield,push pistons into their bores and the just grasp the metal flange on the outer end of the shoe with 2 pairs of pliers and pull the shoe out of the caliper and replace with new shoe.has anyone done this and should I expect any surprises ? I always thought that the caliper had to be taken apart to remove the pads.
