What do you mean "supposed to be"? Per VTCI rules or what you want it to be? Originally, the block (and all mallable parts) were black. What are the "breathers"?
I expect all brackets were black. I think AC compressor was natural (aluminum). Carburetor was unpainted. ir cleaner and valve covers were Argent.
