A.J: After 30 years of working on 61-66 T-Birds I have learned never to depart from what the factory did. As soon as you depart from factory design: things don't fit right, they don't look right. they don't work right. Best to recore the correct factory radiator. 2nd Note: Before installing a new readiator flush the block and heater core. The bottom of the block is full of rust, calcium, dirt and sludge after 40 years- the last thing you need in a clean radiator.
