Re: Gas Milage

I myself on my Thunder, I average about 17 city, and 23 highway, but I also need to change the plugs and wires, and clean the injectors, maybe with any luck, changing those things will get me to 25, but also keep in mind a few factors here, first: a V-8, most V-8s do by far much worse than that, second: rear wheel drive, it takes a little more to get the power to them wheels than a front drive car, and third: a/c if you are running the a/c that is known for robbing a few mpg's, and last: what has been mentioned, the foot, I too am just as guilty as the rest of you for putting my foot into the pedal a little more than what I should, lol.

but all in all, I have to say that with all those factors involved, I personally am happy with the milage that I get, sure I wish that it was better, but for what it is, I think that it's good milage, heck fire, there are some 4-bangers that don't get that good, lol.

with my car, the only mod that I have done to her was run straight pipes on the exhaust, and put in a new mass air flow sensor, other than that, I haven't had to do a thing to my baby.

have a good night all
