I resently did mine. I used my 6" grinder and installed buffing wheels. I used brown then white compound to buff the covers out. Then I used acidtone to clean the buffing compound in the logo groves. After that I painted the green in the logo first then the red. I got the paint from one of the T-bird dealers. Then I did a final hand buff in "Mothers Mag Polish" to give it a real good shine. Turned out great. ;)
