You could go with a true dual with the use of an X or H pipe for equalization. It should do nothing but help the car, and provide you with a few more ponies. I know the resonator is good to have on an SC, but with a V8 it will most likely sound good without one. It might not sound exactly like a 4.6 stang, but pretty damn close! I say go for it! I have a 90 SC, so I had to swap my fuel tank to a 92+, but you won't have to obviously. So I went with 2-1/4" down tubes, high flow cats, magnaflow resonator, 3" center into a pair of Borla mufflers, and it sounds great for a V6. Just go to a good exhaust shop, and tell them what you want, should make a world of difference!
