I want to swap a manual transmission into my automatic T-Bird. I know this will be a difficult task, but not impossible.

Does anybody know where I can locate a transmission (it can be used/old), or

will the transmission from a mustang work?

I have a 3.8L V6, I'm looking for a tranny that will work with that, or I am looking to put a 5.0 in the car.
