Proud New Owners... With Question

We just got a wonderful new(to us) 84 TB and have a couple questions... Okay being new to the whole Ford thing, what is a good spark plug? We know it has HEI on her but no clue as to if she needs a hotter plug. And what is the amount of oil required for a 232 eng.? We are thinking 5 qts. but not really sure. THANKS GUYS!!

5 quarts is dead on. As for a plug? I use nothing but regular Motorcraft (or Autolite) in mine and I have been very happy with their life and performance. Congratulations on an excellent purchase!

I should take some pictures of ours. Your car is beautiful. Ours runs pretty good. Seems to have a part throttle problem when trying to moderately accelerate. And of course, an oil leak here and there. Otherwise it is surprisingly solid (no squeaks or chirps). Always kinda wanted a TBird. Now we have one, a little rough on the edges, but it has a flawless body (purchased from a body shop guy) and nothing major wrong with it.
