Yes, my antenna is on the front right fender. My mistake. So I guess my question is if I have to get at the underside of the base, what do I have to remove to get to it? The outer fender? Inner fender? Dash Panel? I can't find any detail in the shop manual or the electrical manual. Getting behind the radio through the console is easy, I just can't figure out how to get to the base.
I don't have the replacement yet. Any suggestions? I'd kind of like something that is retractable (probably manually) so that I don't have to unscrew the mast whenever I throw the cover on...
