Either asphalt based rattle can or Shutz gun application should give you the texture close to factory. I did mine last winter with rattle cans......had to apply 3 coats to match the texture as mine was just a touch up in some areas where the original had deteriorated ( although I did entire underbelly so all matched). I fortunately did not have any floor metal repair areas to cover (original solid California floors and trunk!) but application should be similar. You don't want it too smooth as the truck bedliner would give you. Let it dry for a few days between coats for best results.
