Dim Marker Lights

Hi Dan:

I posted an answer to your question last week, I think,but it was never posted by this website; don't know why. So, sorry for the tardiness in response. Your description of the problem sends me no real clues as to what precisely in wrong.

Dim lights usually mean low voltage, reduction of voltage in the system somewhere, caused by dirty or rusty connections. But since you have dim lights both in the front and the rear, the culprit likely exists somewhere in between.

Just might be a faulty headlight switch. Most of your lighting system runs through it. You might consider removing it and cleaning all the terminals of just replacing it with a new unit: check e-bay for new units or good used ones as well.
