The seller stated that he did not know the history of the car but had heard that the factory could have used 65 parts in building this car - as it appears it was built in January 1966. Does anyone know if that is true, could be true or is true? Any help would be appreciated.

I am a novice at this (1st restoration project) and will needs lots of advice.
The front clip from a 65 wouldn't fit on a 66.
The clip on the 66 is longer.
Can you post some pictures of your car here?
Bob.
