My dash was also cracked in two places and gapped. I used gorilla glue that expands. My dash was raised up where the cracks were. I had to use some clamps and a way to pulldown on that area. Used wax paper and masking tape to control the glue. Used some bondo to finish up. and painted with vinyl paint from Birds Nest t-bird parts. Saved me from buying a new one. And it looks pretty good.
