This may be a few months late, but I restored a '62 Lincoln w/ miles of vacuum lines .. don't know the correct terminology for the connectors of the various vacuum lines, ( little plastic ribbed connectors ) that connect one vacuum line to another .... take it out of the two lines and turn it around and reconx ... it directs the vacuum where it shud go and vio-la , u now have the heat or forced air working correctly and not coming out of ur defrost channels ... hope this helps ... oh, also make sure the vacuum lines are securely fastened to the resevoirs or holding tanks ... gemman
