Well I guess we have no carburetor gurus here. I replaced it anyway with a Holley 0-1850s and its running great. The 1850s has a manual choke (which I will be replacing with an electric one as the old one heat operated one was broken) and an extra transmission downshift which I won't be connecting. It fired right up without adjustment but it is running a little rich so it could probably use a little tweaking. My vacuum came up on the gauge and looks to be right even though I have a little exhaust manifold leak at #4. All in all, $250 well spent vs my time and headache on rebuilding the old one. Anyway the list is growing on a 'free bird'
