noise

hey marc i had a similar issue with my 62 i tried several times to chainge the fluid to no avail, so i replaced it and still had the same noise and foaming issue what i discoverd was that my inlet line had goten twisted when the shop had rebuilt the engine and the seal of the housing was not solid so it was sucking in air, leaking and compressing the hose all at one time once i untwisted the line ciliconed the pump it stoped . hope this helps but i also know the ford steering pumps are notorious for whinning.
