There is a seal and an oring there. To remove you have to loosen front servo and drop valve body to get to the nut on the shaft. Also a loaded detent pin to watch out for when you pull the shaft. Always did mine with tranny out, But maybe you could drop crossmember and let tranny down just a bit. [ just a guess] I had a couple leak, But they didn't leak much so i just let them be. Stop leak may help. If you pull the tranny you maybe should put the internal seals in also since the car sat. They get hard and shrink also, Then the car doesn't shift correct or at all.
