From your later post I guess you figured out the relay is on the firewall slighly towards the passenger side. i have pulled the Driver's side manifold, not fun but doable.. i soaked the bolts with liquid wrench for a couple days and every so often tapped the bolts. i had the car two feet off the ground so it was easy to get up under I went into it thinging I will break off at least on of the ears but they all survived. Now days they have reproduction manifolds and correct bolts/washers so no worries on parts. If you break a bolt then you just might have to pull the intake and head, but worth a try first, you are really no worse off if you were going to pull the intake and head to begin with...
Worst comes to worse go to an exhaust shop and pay them to remove the manifold. cost should be around $100.
